Ingredients
Active: Calcium Thioglycolate — the depilatory agent. It breaks the keratin bonds in the hair shaft so the hair dissolves at the skin line instead of being pulled from the root.
Four plant extracts carried in the foam to look after the skin while the active works:

Please read before your first use: this is a chemical depilatory. Patch test 24 hours ahead on a small area. Never leave it on longer than 10 minutes. Not for the face, genitals, broken, sunburnt or freshly shaved skin. Rinse off at once if you feel stinging or burning.

How to use
For: legs, arms, underarms and the outer bikini line. Men and women. 140 ml / 4.73 fl oz.
Patch test first. Twenty-four hours before your first use, apply a coin-sized amount to a small patch of the area you plan to treat. Leave for 5 minutes, rinse, and wait a day. If the skin reddens, itches or stings, do not use the product.
Directions:
- Start with clean, dry skin. Shake the can well.
- Dispense a generous layer of foam and spread it over the hair without rubbing it in — the hair should be covered, not massaged.
- Leave for 5 minutes. Check a small area with the scraper. If the hair does not lift away, leave it a little longer.
- Never exceed 10 minutes. Set a timer.
- Remove with the scraper supplied, working against the direction of growth, then rinse thoroughly with cool water. Do not use soap on the area for a few hours.
- If your skin is on the sensitive side, a damp microfibre cloth removes it just as well as the scraper and drags less.
- Pat dry. Moisturise if the skin feels tight.
Safety: external use only. Do not use on the face, head, genitals, inside the bikini line, or on broken, irritated, sunburnt or freshly shaved skin. Leave at least 72 hours between treatments on the same area. Avoid sun, swimming, deodorant and hot baths for 24 hours afterwards. Keep away from eyes — if it gets in, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Stop immediately and rinse if you feel burning. Keep out of reach of children. Not for use on anyone under 16. If you are pregnant or have a skin condition, speak to your doctor first.

Yes, and it is the one step worth not skipping. Twenty-four hours before your first use, put a coin-sized amount on a small patch of the area you plan to treat, leave it 5 minutes, rinse, and wait a day. Skin reacts differently from person to person, and this is a chemical depilatory — a patch test is how you find out safely rather than on a whole leg.
2. How long do I leave it on?
Five minutes for most people. Check a small area with the scraper — if the hair lifts away, rinse everything off. Coarser hair may need another one to five minutes. Never go past 10 minutes. Leaving it longer does not remove more hair, it just irritates the skin. Set a timer rather than guessing.
3. Where can I use it?

4. Does it hurt?
It should not. There is no pulling — the formula dissolves the hair at the skin line rather than tearing it from the root, so there is nothing to grip and nothing to yank. You may feel a mild warmth or tingle, which is normal. If you feel stinging or burning, rinse it off straight away with cool water.
5. Can men use it?
Yes. The mousse is formulated for men and women alike, and works the same way on chest, back, arms, shoulders and legs. Coarser hair sometimes needs the longer end of the 5–10 minute window — check a small area with the scraper before removing the rest. The same guidance applies either way: patch test 24 hours ahead, and keep it off the face.
6. How long does it last?
Most people get three to five days before regrowth shows, compared with a day or two from shaving. Because the hair is dissolved at an angle rather than cut flat, it grows back softer and without the sharp stubble edge.
7. Will it stop hair growing back?
No. This removes hair at the surface — it does not affect the follicle, so hair regrows on its normal cycle. Anything sold as permanently reducing growth is making a claim we will not make for this product.
8. Do I use the scraper that comes with it?
You can — it is included, and it lifts the softened hair away in one pass. Work against the direction of growth and let the edge do the work rather than pressing. If your skin is on the sensitive side, several customers prefer a damp microfibre cloth instead: it removes just as much and drags less.
9. Does it smell?
Far less than you are expecting. Thioglycolate depilatories have a characteristic sulphur note; this one is formulated with a soft citrus scent that covers most of it. It is noticeable while it is on and gone once you have rinsed.
